Virat Kohli is the top run-scorer of IPL 2024 with 379 runs from eight games for Royal Challengers Bengaluru so far.


Travis Head of Sunrisers Hyderabad is in second place, on 324 from six games, after his outrageous 89 off 32 balls against Delhi Capitals on Saturday.


Riyan Parag of Rajasthan Royals is at No. 3 with 318 runs. Shubman Gill, the Gujarat Titans captain, follows in fourth place with 298 runs; Gill made 35 in his team's win against Punjab Kings on Sunday night.



He is followed by Rohit Sharma of Mumbai Indians, Sunil Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul.


Among the top 20 run-makers, Head has the best strike rate, a remarkable 216. His team-mate Abhishek Sharma follows close on his heels with 215.96, and Heinrich Klaasen, also of Sunrisers, is on 198.51.


Jos Buttler is the leading century-maker in this year's IPL, with two hundreds. Rohit, Narine, Kohli and Head are the other batters to have scored hundreds this season. Four batters, Parag, Samson, Quinton de Kock and Klaasen, have three fifties in IPL 2024.

Jasprit Bumrah of Mumbai Indians is No. 1 on the IPL wicket-takers' list. His 13 wickets have come at an economy of 5.96, the best of any bowler in the top 20.

Harshal Patel, the Punjab Kings seamer, who took 3 for 15 in his team's loss against Gujarat Titans on Sunday, is in second place; he too has 13 but at a higher strike rate than Bumrah - 9.58.


Yuzvendra Chahal, the Rajasthan Royals legspinner, and Mumbai Indians fast bowler Gerald Coetzee have 12 wickets apiece from their seven games. Punjab Kings seamer Sam Curran and Mustafizur Rahman of Chennai Super Kings are next with 11 wickets - though Rahman's wickets have come from six games and Curran's from eight.



Six bowlers have ten wickets apiece: Kuldeep Yadav, who took 4 for 55 against Sunrisers on Saturday, and Khaleel Ahmed of Delhi Capitals; T Natarajan of Sunrisers; Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh of PBKS; and Mohit Sharma of Titans.


Bumrah and Yash Thakur of Lucknow Super Giants are the only bowlers to have taken five-fors this year. Seven bowlers - Pathirana, Kuldeep, Natarajan, Mustafizur, Arshdeep, Coetzee, and R Sai Kishore of Titans - have taken four in an innings.


Chahal and Kuldeep are the only spinners among the top 15 most successful bowlers in the 2024 IPL. Narine has the second best economy rate after Bumrah among the top 20 wicket-takers, 7.31.
